This site sets no advertising cookies and runs no third-party trackers. Fonts are served from our own domain, so loading a page does not tell anyone else you were here.

Saved guides

When you save a guide, the list is stored in your own browser using localStorage. It never leaves your device and we cannot read it. Clearing your browser data clears the list.

The newsletter

If you subscribe, we store the email address you give us for the purpose of sending the newsletter, and nothing else. Every issue carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing deletes the address.

Server logs

Our host records standard request logs — IP address, user agent, the page requested — for security and capacity purposes, and discards them on a rolling basis. We do not use them to build profiles of readers.
